I am attending the Litchfield meet and am interested in meeting up with the other Long Island Minis. What town is the park in that we are meeting at (off the LIE) and what time are you meeting there? If someone could let me know that would be great. Either post a reply or PM me. Thanks.

yeah I do.. <a ccoridng to Street Atlas.. but also according the SA... it's 2:16 from my house in Freeport..

Basically it's a ride up the hutch... to 684 to 84 to 7 to 202.

only thing... I might avoid the Throggs Neck and go right to the Whitestone... (going up the Cross Island and up and around... vs the Whitestone Expy

just looking at Street Atlas to see different routes.

funny.. it suggests taking 684 to 84 to 6 (of all) and then to 61 then 63 then 202 (litchfield) as the fastest. second would be 684 to 84 to 7 to 202...,
third is 684-84-8 then off to rt 6 then rt 254...

odd choices eh?
oh and all times are at 2 hours or more (we would be out of state plates for CT cops... aka ripe for the pickin')

I think we should get a head count for the park off the LIE so we don't leave anyone behind. I also have a route mapped out, taking the Whitestone to the Hutch, I think that way is better. If we want to meet up with the Westchester group I also have directions from that. I was also wondering if everyone (in the LI group) has EZ pass, cause if not we are gonna have to wait for everyone at the tolls. See everyone in the park at 7am. Ugh that's early.
