See that six gun on my hip, Rick? See the notches on the grip? There's room for one more. Plus, the Baker Babes will provide my alibi and I'll never be caught. Centennial Man has to be good for something....and, BTW, that hug with M took a few seconds longer than necessary, Mr. Watch - Where - Your - Hands - Are.

I tried to get away, but I was caught in a happier place. I saw beautiful sunsets, heard crashing waves. You're a lucky man, my friend.

Welcome Hallie. I think Maine is far enough north you need not worry about the characters in the prior posts. Maxamini is by your side to bring order to the world. Stay close. This is a dangerous place.

Odd? That's how my beloved Mart described this experience.

Oops! Got caught up on my reading. Al Kooper (ReKooperation: a great recent CD!) is terrific. I remember him from the 60's (I think?). WIll check the calendar....

Mini Noob

Greetings all,

Well, I don't own a MINI...but oh god how I want to! I'm in the process of defining which options I would like...and of course locating a dealer I'm over in Milford, NH...is the closest dealership really in Peabody (MA)? I heard rumor there was one closer (or at least in NH), perhaps by the seacoast?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nope...Peabody is the closest to Milford (and the best dealer in New England). Glad to see another prospective MAMA member from "The Good Side of the River" about to take the plunge.

Happy shopping!

MINI of Peabody, without a doubt!

'nuff said.

Excellent. Looks like I'm gonna take a trip to Peabody then!

So quickly...how's the Mini in NH snow and slush? This will be my primary vehicle, so it's a bit important! I commute to Tewksbury everyday...so hopefully it's competent (in the snow). I've heard nothing but great things about this car....drove a relative's this weekend, and I think I maybe hooked

Thanks again from the good side.

Zebylong, didn't take long for the cavalry to show on the horizon did it?! Outfitted with a wide option of snow tires , the MINI is a snow cat. Smaller Ski areas could use them for grooming. I use mine all winter and never a problem. When highways, schools and businesses are shut down due to snow and ice, I MINI motor north to the slopes. DSC is a must.

Well then I can't find any reason not to own one! As far as maintenence goes, y'all jump down to Peabody for oil changes 'n such? Or are they servicable at any BMW dealership?

Thanks again for the insight.

BMW dealers cannot service MINIs. But, since the oil changes are only every 10,000 miles (or more), it's not that big a deal.
