I may be in search of a MAMA's helping hand.

I've got a suspension squeak that started after using the auto car wash and getting an undercarriage wash. My guess is the water removed whatever lubrication was on my aftermarket swaybar bushing(s). At least, I hope that's it, because that seems like the easiest thing to fix. And the squeak happens most when only one side of the car hits a bump.

As an apartment dweller, the only location I have to work on my car is the parking lot, and that's been snow / slush covered for a while now - not the most pleasant environment to be laying on one's back.

Does anyone have garage space I can leach off of? The further north, the better. The squeaking is starting to drive me more insane.

Jason,
You can use mine if you want to. I know that its a ways away but if you need its better than laying in the snow.

Snid my place is north but perhaps a bit too far east for you but I have Wood stove heat in the barn if you feel like a visit to mid coast Maine

Jason,
I'd be almost certain it is the bushings... I've got the same problem with mine. I'm almost tempted to go back to stock for the winter until I can find better oversize bushings. The stockones specifically say in the service manual NOT to apply grease. The ones I have came with grease and I've added more (supposedly better) stuff since and they are back to squeaking again.
I've got a house, but since our driveway is at about a 30 degree incline I have to work in the road so I might join you where ever you end up!

Happy New Year one and all..!

Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.

Hey guys. I can set you up in a four car heated garage. Not mine BTW. Snid it could be combined with an exploration of Catamount and a sleep over before your return. Whatever works.
