Is anyone interested in doing the same (maybe different) route of Litchfield at night some time in Aug?

We are going to meet around 9ish in Litchfield. Stay tuned for more info...

Call me a wuss but I would be very reluctant to run after dark. In my area, when the sun sets it is like wild friggin' kingdom on the roads. Critters are so plentiful it's like a slalom on the state roads but instead of orange cones, you gotta drive around the deer. Last night I actually had to stop for a small doe on 59 because she couldn't make up her mind which way to go.

Naturally, this may not be the case in Litchfield county but in northern Faifield County, fugettaboutit!

Yeah, but ice: CSpeed is volunteering to take the front. You may just have to worry about deer flying at you from over his windshield. Besides, the sound of six heavily exhaling magnaflows is going to frighten any living thing in a 6 mile radius.

Sorry, I'm gonna have to wuss-out too. I hate night driving. I like my MINI too much to have something happen to it. For me, driving like we did last weekend at night scares the crap out of me. Of course, I'd drive up to my limits. But it's things out of my control that I'm worried about. I'll stick to day-time rallies.

I wonder what the response of the locals will be? We need to make sure each road is run only once, no back tracking and we can skip the forest road too.
