Are you putting in replacement end links too..? That was the real pain when I did mine. That and finding somewhere to put the jack stands that doesn't damage the car... The obvious place - the jacking point, is need to jack the car. Good luck with it - they're worth putting in..!

The other day, I bought those new design vent grills for right below the windshield, you know, the ones without the mesh. Can't seem to get an easy fit in my 03 MCS. Anybody else have that problem or a hint?

Illegitimate monastaries would be OK.

Where are you, JB? Out fishing?

Best hint I can give you is to learn one end of a screw driver from another. The other hint is get a life.

Yeah, JB, time to get back into the fold. Your black humor and attempts at witty reparte are missed.

Try letting a large watermelon ripen in the northeast corner of your yard. Then coat it with the rendered fat of a brown chicken. Finally, in the light of the full moon, pass the fat coated watermelon over your neighbors fence. That should pretty much take care of it for you.

I got no problem with that sort of entrepreneurship, it's the 19 year old stoners who hassle me for change every time I go by Nectar's and Muddy Waters when I'm downtown, they are the ones that get on my nerves. I'm pretty left-leaning sort of guy (card carrying member of the ACLU no less), but walking by those kids, it's just about the only time in my life when "get a haircut and get a job, you deadbeat!" seems like something I wanna shout. Them and the damn "trustafarian" trust-fund hippies from Connecticut and New Jersey who come up here to play hippie for a few years before going back to the family investment banking business. Was that a self-installation job?

Hey, Lord or any ManVegas denizon, there was a piece on 9 about Down and Dirty BBQ in Manchester. Any experiences there worth mentioning? A former lawyer runs it so I'm a bit skeptical.

I've just been doing some math(s) - with the aid of conversion software and a calculator of course. I think this is right, but it's shocking none the less...
People around here are up in arms about paying $2.33 a gallon for premium gas. SUV sales are down (shock) and generally it's a Bad Thing.
By my calculation (ok, software), 1 US Gal is 3.785 liters so we're paying 61.5 cents per liter.
At today's exchange rate that's 34.3 pence per liter....
In England they're paying about 80 pence per liter (higher I think)
That's $1.43 per liter...
That's $5.44 per US gallon..!!

I know a lot of it is taxes - I'm not saying anything about the systems that operate in each country that determine fuel prices, but what is more shocking is that I've seen Jeep Grand Cherokees and the like in the UK recently. How do people afford to run them over there..!? They're not all diesels and it would cost about 120 quid to fill there..!!!

Yup... Pretty easy, too.

Here's a picture of toy #1 (the lights) taken with toy#2 (the new f2.0 lens for my camera). The f2.0 lens lets me take a pitcure of my car where you cannot tell it's dirty and covered in bug splats! yeah!

The place I like is off Exit 4 on 293, on Second Street heading towards Bedford, called KC's Rib Shack Barbecue.

And John, thanks for pointing that out, I am been trying to get my boss to send me back to Texas for work. All that just so I can do my favorite place, Rudy's on Research Drive in Austin, TX.

Check this place out, http://www.rudys.com/
