| No it's not. A good chunk of the "normal" milk in the supermarkets (at least up here) are labeled rBGH/rBST/hormone free, not just the pricy organic stuff. Hood, Booth Bros, New England Family Farms, etc. Bovine growth hormone has been a major political issue here for a long time, maybe that's why. Don't know if the Hood that's in stores in MA is rBGH free, it comes from a different plant (all the Vermont stuff comes from a plant in Barre VT)... -Ricardo |

There was a moment of horror when, after test driving Vinny, the salesman came back and said "Are you having trouble with the transmission?" Oh how my heart started racing. But I stuck to my guns and said "No, why?" "It seems to be slipping a bit." "But it's a brand new transmission." "OH! That's right! I forgot you said that. That would explain it!" and he went on his merry way. PHEW! |
