Hiya girls, if you migrate to the OSMC, we have an "Estrogen Only" forum! If boys dare to post there, the moderator will erase their messages! With a whip, of course...!

NoNo, I never had a chance to taste your calzone! I'll keep an eye out for yours so I can get one, too.

Hey kids, it seems that I have four Sox tickets but only three people that want to go (myself included). Between the current situation in the standings and the fact that the Pats season opener is Sunday afternoon, demand has dropped off in a big way. Gee, go figure. So I've got a spare ticket if anyone's interested. Sunday, 2:05pm, vs the Royals. Seat is in Box 94 (rightfield side, near the Pesky Pole), $45. It's time for me to hit the road, but I'll be back online later tonight, drop me a PM or an email if you're interested...

Shnikeys, not much market for Sox tickets these days! Surprising given that every tenth person thru the gate gets to join the Sox pitching staff...

Ricardo got a question, is Casino Royale (the new one) a remake of another Casino Royale or was Casino Royale (the old one) the Woody Allen s****? I asked Louis but he didn't know, I then said I'll ask Ricardo he'll know.

The new Casino Royale is the first "official" James Bond movie based on the book. The Casino Royale which was made in '67 (with Peter Sellers, Woody Allen, David Niven, etc.) was a parody, it was able to be made because for various contractural reasons EON productions (the people who make Bond movies) didn't control the rights to it (it was the only Ian Fleming story EON didn't own). In 1999, they finally acquired it, so now they're finally making an "official" version...

Yes, I do know too much about Bond.

So what do you think of the new Bond..?

Talking of movies, we just watched Inside Man (from the $1-a-night Redbox vending machine). It's good - I'd recommend it. Haven't been to the movies in ages, so forgive me if it's really old news...

I'm interested. They're saying that they want to scale things back a bit, not be so over the top with invisible cars and massive death rays and all that jazz, something a bit more hard-edged and quasi-realistic. That would be fine with me. Something less like Moonraker and Die Another Day and more like From Russia With Love or For Your Eyes Only would be okay with me...

Gadget (the name of one of my late cats!) Gav,

We rarely go to the movies, either! We wait till it comes out on DVD so we are as backwards as you are... It's cheaper than at the movies & food is just downstairs.

Dude, where is my MINI?

NEW YORK (AP) -

Several Brooklyn residents woke up to find their street empty -- because someone had posted a "No Parking" sign and police had towed their rides.

The sign, which bans parking on a street from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, mysteriously appeared Monday or Tuesday, residents said, and then police started ticketing and towing cars parked there.

But the Department of Transportation says there aren't any parking restrictions in the area and it doesn't know who posted the placard, which looks official.

Resident David Bourgeois said he had to pay $205 to retrieve his Mini Cooper, with a $60 ticket on the windshield, from a police pound Wednesday after it was hauled away.

"It's just outrageous," he told the Daily News for Friday editions.

The DOT said it would try to dismiss the ticket -- and take down the No Parking sign.

More like the towing company. They're the ones making out in the end.

Funny, I never knew the Bonds were based on actual books. Didn't know there was actual writing involved--just as much thin plot, hot babes, big explosions, and unrealistic gadgets as they could string together. Of course that is a recipie for fun and I have gone to each one. But it has been much longer than usual! At one point I thought they came out with one every two years, and every other one was good. But they've broken that, and also have some blonde guy too. I just want to see the new Aston.
