| Leave it to Apple to make my almost feel bad about my sqeezebox! This might just replace my ipod out at the grill though! |

| At first glance I though "why?" when I saw that AirPort Express thing, but the more I look at it, the more useful it seems. Of course, I already do USB printer sharing, so as long as the main computer is on I can print wirelessly, I already have an iMic hooked up to feet of RCA cable to send iTunes to my stereo, so is it worth the $$$ to replace a couple of working solutions... probably not. It's also not the new product anyone was expecting from Apple (I hadn't seen any rumors) and I suspect not the one that masses of new customers are waiting to buy... Of course, they might all be like me and warm to it over time... we'll see... That Roku thing looks cool for iTunes to stereo though, but it's expensive. ![]() Religion is like a huge dog. | Jared, If you want to do a reasonable amount of video editing, surely that is one thing that the faster processor would be a significant benefit for? |

| Think of it as a mini plug & play wireless network for your MINI ![]() Good choice pezboy, I love the 12"PBG4, what a perfect portable. Course I'm tempted to help fix your poor pismo (and of course happy to), but I'm more in support of you getting a sweet new 12" The only thing that sucks where I work is everything needs a government PO, else I'd be able to buy parts for people, like a nice cheap pismo video display cable. |

| Ian...proc speed shouldn't matter too much except for encoding from raw dv to mpeg1 or mpeg4. Importing and editing doesn't take much, just exporting and rendering. Josh...I have already scammed some parts back when a buddy was an authorized Apple tech. Now he works for Apple so I can't get anything. I went through a battery, two power cables, and two inverter boards. The display cable tore a little bit right around the hinge, and my current battery is dead also. I used to have a dual 800/80gb/superdrive but I sold that because I never used it except for burning dvds...I was always wandering around the house with my laptop. I sold the dual and the laptop took a crap shortly thereafter. The refurb is such a sweet deal. Same support but significantly cheaper. They are limited quantities as usual so I might order sometime this week...still thinking about it. WWDC shouldn't bring any updates to portables since they were just recently updated.Steve...you are right. Susan will be here on Thurs the 17th so I will continue to be in rare form until then!
