| Gavin, why don't you have your highspeed easily accessible from the road? I parked in front of your place but pulled up nothing. | Jared, why would I want to..?   I'm not in the business of providing free internet access for scrounging MINI drivers!Actually, I try to position it so that I get coverage in the back yard, and as you know our house is set more towards the back of the lot. I would have thought it would reach the street though, maybe I should walk around and check the range. Religion is like a huge dog. | It's okay. I found a nice spot. I picked up probably 50 just driving around, and 30-35 without encryption...not usually any good place to stop and look inconspicuous. Right now I am getting all software update stuff right near the video store and that flashing yellow light...if you know what i'm talking about. "Just keep heading into the wind. | I have dialup at home. It is wireless and free for all, so if you are ever driving by and need some 'net, feel free. I got this new laptop and there were 12-15 items in software update. I got the big one (10.3.4 update) by parking outside someones house. The rest are smallish and I can get those overnight. Most of the network names are "NETGEAR" or "linksys" heh. | Sorry - didn't realise you'd got dial up or I'd have moved my antenna..! That puts you in Secco league you know..! I had renamed ours, but then everything got turned off and moved in the flood so I think it's back to defaults. Religion is like a huge dog. | Take a look at the "Posts" count in the "SOCIAL AND REGION SPECIFIC - USA REGIONAL" area; Northern California is third with 3,375 posts. The Mid-Atlantic is second with 4,096. And first is the NY/NE region with 19,129 posts. Well, 19,130 now.
