Do you think we should be charitable and share Max with them? How about Max and Theo?

Nah, they are both too priceless to turn over to the heathens. Anybody doing anything next weekend? This weekend I have to weedwack but the following weekend. Hey, let's meet at Logan and watch planes take off and land.

Jared,
If you're ever passing through Gloucester, you will probably find my wireless router is happy to chat to you, I can't be bothered to shut it off, at least not until it gives me trouble ...

John,
I thought you were off cod-fishing next week?

Ian, GBMINI Blog has been pretty weak lately. Find more stuff to post about!! Well it has been better recently, but May had very few updates! I did appreciate the pricing info on the new vents. Do those have to be ordered or are they stocked?

I assure you all if you park in front of my place, you will get signal, with my antenna, I can pretty much serve the entire block! Course you'll have to bribe me to get the password...

From my livingroom & macstumbler, I pick up 5 to 7 different base stations! Half are just linksys and have no password. Had cable problems one day, I just jumped on someone else's.

As for the post count...I grew a big smile when I first saw that! The opposite is true on my Focus board...our IL group were very close-knit and posted all the time. We hung out regularly. Moved back to NE and people hardly post, hardly hang out, basically, they're definately not friends. Granted I have my own friends here to keep me busier, but none I can share pride in my car with. Well thanks to MINI2 I have new friends again. Well you guys don't meet up all that often but are still close online. I know, I know, I have an open invitation to crash on your couches for several weeks at a time... OK, I'll wait till we form a Boston MINI club then.

Cheeky..! Have you got a blog Jared..? Daily posts of bags being mishandled..?!
I hope MOP gets me a screen as I was hoping to get the aero grille. Running out of time to fit it before MOT at this rate.

Well he just updated with some cool HK stuff, but I don't have HK. Blog? I could probably do a comical one, with all the stuff that happens at work. Like the time someone put some little boxes of baby chickens (mailed through usps) on the back of a flatbed tug, and when he drove they blew off and the cart being towed drove over them, half were dead the other half were hopping all over the ramp!

You're fine as long as you aren't a baby chicken.

Josh, that doesn't surprise me for Davis Square. Stuff is more spread out here though so I had to take the lappy on the road!

Unfortunately I just end this banter for tonight, Gav. 3:15am comes pretty early.

No-one forces you to read my web pages
Problem is - in the end I have done everything to GBMINI and there is nothing left ... I think there might be some stuff after next weekend ... Gabe Bridger offered to make me a post-person on MotoringFile where I could post non-GBMINI stuff ...

When I was at MOP last week the new vent grilles were stock - at least two sets because Richard grabbed a set too after seeing mine. And yes I did pay for them! I have to pay sometimes

Lame. I blew a runflat on the way to work this morning. Hit a spot on 93S just before Rt 16. Made it off 93 onto 16 and sure enough, 0psi. The car was driving a little wonky, but not so bad. I made it to work but now I have to figure out what to do. I did have a runflat patched over a year and a half ago. It could be the same tire, I have to have someone at home check the records. If it's the same, should I have it towed to the tire place? Or should I have it go to MOP regardless? Also, does MOP have bunkass tires so I could just ride on a cheap crappy tire for a while until I figure out what to do? One more thing...will the truck that MINI Roadside dispatches tow to MOP just for a busted tire? Or will they give me grief and try to bring it to some local place in East Boston (not something I want to do.) Thanks guys.

Ah, tyres, how I hate mine! Tough luck, Jared. MINI should have Roadside take you to Peabody.

Call MINI road side. Car is not driveable. Must be towed. End of story.
What runflalts you running? MOP may have some used?

Roadside towed me to my dealer with a blown runflat. Persist.
I have the 17 Pirellis and couldn't wait to scrub them off and replace them with non runflats. Oh how I enjoyed the winter on soft Blizzaks. Some guy on NAM was offering three 17 Pirellis for a good price. I bought them. Now I'll be cursed with the jarring ride for life. The price was too good to pass.

One of them is yours if you go that route. Let me know.

What are you on John?
