Either way it is fun. I took two videos from last year that can give you an idea. Josh Wardell - Video

My 318i has the aribag light and ABS light both on - I keep forgetting to stop by the BMW dealership to check it out, and I'm also afraid of what they'll soak me for (even without the leaky sunroof!)

It depends - the airbag light indicates a problem which might or might not be severe enough to prevent deployment. I wouldn't want to gamble!

It is not uncommon for an air bag to cause more damage than if it didn't deploy. Non-deployment may be a good thing.

One nice feature on the Chevy Hardy Har I just rented -- if the passenger seat is empty, the airbag is off. We had both airbags deploy in our minivan from a very minor tap -- repair=$3000+.

That should be the way it works on the 05+ MINIs as well.

Don't knock 'em until you try 'em! My only problem is that I've got a small mailbox and the mailman keeps mangling 'em trying to fit them in the box. I've told him that next time one arrives, just put that yellow post-it on the door and have me come and collect her at the post office. Far less messy that way.

Is that going to become the official MAMA retreat..?

Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.

more photos in my Gallery. Unfortunately a move to that area will mean an end to MINI ownership as the roads (if you can call them that ) are abysmal. Potholes that would swallow A mini WHOLE. I will be looking for a Toyota FJ 4x4 turbo diesel I fear. I found an old one on Craig's list in San Jose that even has a snorkle intake!

out of my mind.........back in five minutes.

Whilst whittling away at MoP yesterday, I heard from a tech that someone had backed out of a GP purchase. 20 minutes later, it was sold.

Hrach sends hugs and kisses but no sausages. Some guy showed up in an Elise. Paul and I agree..it looks like a kit car. Graham is a nice guy but not as pretty as Heather. Gary seems well and his techs are ready for turbos. Whoever concocted the layout for that dealership is certifiable. I refuse to spend more than one minute in 'the lounge'. Brian doing well in Ohio? with his racing career. Missed Keith as he works Thursdays and Saturdays. The receptionist is very pretty but still took my money. Spa guys are tops. And they like me 'cause I refuse to let them vacuum.
