Mr. Ray Charles

I was fortunate to have attended three Ray Charles concerts. He was just fantastic. I was even luckier when I got the chance to shoot this picture of my girlfriend with Mr. Charles.

I too will upgrade as things fall away. There are lots of low mileage upgrades out there as people upgrade their upgrades. I know of two people who have had Magnaflow upgrades, upgraded to Borlas and Borla Sport to Borla Street and vice versa. Just a few months use and gathering dust. Let me know when you want to move if you don't go new.

When I see the number of 17-Slites for sale at pond bottom prices it makes me wish I had taken just the most ratty ass stock wheels and done change after the fact. Oh well.
Happy Motoring!

Well. My 17"...is it X-lite? is busted. They didn't even take the tire off to check if it was patchable because with the damage to the wheel they said the sidewall is most likely busted up too.

Time to find one of those now!

Sorry to hear that, pezboy. I can't possibly imagine how that could have happenned, with boston's wonderfully immaculate pavement and all...

...this is why I'm getting 16s with mine. I've been lucky with 17's on my current car, it's taken some doozies, but I'm leaving it at that: lucky.

Err...it is an S-Lite.

When driving the car after it happened...it kind of had a "chug chug" thing going, but I thought that was just because there was literally no air in the tire whatsoever. Apparently now that is from the bustedass wheel. Grr...

Peabody's got one with a chip in the clearcoat. They can sell it for $150. Doesn't seem like that great a deal. Actually it looks like the MSRP for 4 of them is $600 so...

Great upgrade for a Cooper..can you even put 17s on a Cooper?

I wouldn't worry about a chip in the clear coat. You should see my road rash. What's a mini new 17 go for? Doesn't seem like much of a discount. Damn, Koolmini was just giving away, as in free, two 17 runflats. I'll ask about wheels.
I had a Saab with wheels that only took Michelin TRX. My daughter pulled off into a soft shoulder and rolled the bead back and ruined the wheel and tire. For the cost of replacement of the one tire and wheel I just got a set of wheels and four new tires all around.
Hope your motoring soon.

If I can't find one cheaper, I will probably just get that wheel from MOP and Gav's Goodyears. I'd rather find one cheaper online but I don't have that much time to get one shipped and stuff, especially with MOT next weekend.

Waiting to hear back from Gav about if he is wanting to get rid of one of his S-Lites.

Screw 93.

Actually...Gavin's Goodyears it looks are all-seaons. My Dunlops are performance. I probably shouldn't mix those treads.

Back to square one.

Oh, I know!! I can put my winter steels on again! heh...

Steelies are a solution and then you can make a decision at your leisure but we both know how nice it was to go back to the sticky in the twistiy performane rubber. I feel your pain.

Jared,
If in desperation stakes, I have a set of 16" white wheels with runflats sitting doing nothing for now, all shiny and clean. If you wanted to borrow them all for a while, to delay the what-to-with-your-17s decision, you could - just would like them back undamaged and similarly clean
