Our vet loves our cat. He goes to board there when we go away. They were offering to come to our house to feed him if we didn't want to take him in. He's the most mellow cat you'll ever meet.Ian, you *are* the boss... That doesn't count..! ![]() Annette, what does your brother do..? It might not even be a career change for me..! ![]() Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.

He writes the financial software that companies like Ricardo's use to come up with their numbers ![]() I have to say, I was impressed with the office. The second I walked in, they were all cooing over Ruthie, so it's nice to know the whole staff were animal lovers. The vet was very friendly and helpful, didn't rush me at all. I hear there's a kennel there (my boss recommended them - she has 2 cats, an Australian Shepherd, and a Burmese Mountain Dog ), so if I go away and her grandparents can't take her, I'd be ok leaving her there.

Hey Ian... I saw two new Hybrid GPs today... pretty quiet little things... ![]() Sheena's Gallery :: Form :: abu

Is that "suicidal air purifier"? Hard to read the early letters ![]() Definitely looks like Thunder Blue backing color ...

I don't want to worry you, but, we have 4 cats and none of them have had adverse reactions from vaccines. Generally they just get a little sleepy. (Although we did have one foam at the mouth from flea stuff). If it is not better in the am, I would call the vet.
| ||||
24-48 hours after vaccination there are possible side effects. Some of them can be 1) lethargy (sometimes a g-d send) 2) injection site reactions (which may include but are not limited to swelling and tenderness) 3) there may be some vomiting and soft stools. If your pet acts in any way that would alert you your should take them to an emergency clinic. Things that are very serious would be pale gums, listlessness and unresponsive. Usually serious vaccine reactions occur within 1/2 hour -1 hour after receiveing them. This is of course thanks to 6 years working in a vet's office. But I'm serious if you become concerned take her to a clinic. ![]() "Buy you a soda after the game?"

Thanks guys. She seemed a little more clingy than usual, but so far there's only been that one soft stool. Right now she's playing with her paper ball, content as can be. She ate, she drank. The vet had mentioned the 1/2 hour thing, but it happened a few hours after we left there, so that's why I wasn't sure. I'm going to assume she's ok, but keep an eye on her just to be sure.
