Actually, the DVDs are American; all that stuff got brought over, but I didn't have room to bring it home. I could rip them to my computer without having to worry about region encoding, however (I think).

Having today off, I'm parked in front of the tv at the mercy of weekday programming. There's a thing about Houdini on the History channel and they're interviewing various people. They show a man who's "blacked out", i.e. you can only see his silhouette while he's talking. Fine, but then they identify him as Teller from Penn and Teller! What's the point of blacking him out while he's talking if we all already know what he looks like?
