I need new wiper blade refills. Would anyone be so daring as to volunteer their brand preferences and experiences?
Like Ian, I have contemplated just getting a new MINI when the windscreen gets dirty, so as to eliminate the trouble of replacing them. Then again, Jock's tactic is to just throw a rock at the windshield and let the insurance company and MoP provide a clean replacement. But I have elected to just replace the wipers.
Being the cheap bast@rd I am, I'd prefer not to replace the whole wiper assembly. However, with my huge teacher's salary increase, I am just flush enough with cash to blow it on a new Tony Hillerman mystery, or to live large and get new wiper blades AND wipers.
Any suggestions?

yeah, take a long walk off a short pier! Hey, I passed the dreaded *pin* test 7 times
I recommend the Joe Rose mod of putting 2 driver's side blades on. Works a treat! I tried the PIAA blades ,,,,junk! I even sprung for the $ 85 Valeo from tire rack...........major junk, they went right back
out of my mind.........back in five minutes.

My windshield is finally getting pitted - It was so nice when it cracked all the time - I'm thinking the Ian root to new glass

GPMINI got PPG a while back - I don't see any issues with it yet; one rock hit has left a tiny chip in the passenger side middle, but no noticeable speckling like I'm used to ... maybe there is an improvement as people claim

I went with PPG too...back in the day. Smart move over OEM glass. Except when I had the morons at Giant Glass do the installation. Oh man, what a goat foofoo that was.
Gee, my current windshield (never did understand "wind screen" as screens let air and elements pass through, what what!) is perfect with no pits or cracks...oh wait a minute...that's because it's not a MINI! haha.
Still, I wish it was doing that because it would mean I had STRYK2 in the driveway. Speaking of which, MA plate request went in last week for "STRYK2". Looks like GOMINI is still available too.

Oh goodie. Mom got laid off today. Now her and dad are home full-time (he was laid off two months ago). At least all of his test results came back negative (some stomach things going on). Yeah, this year's off to a great start.
