I was 21 in 1969 ( just like "runnin on empty", me and my ol pal Jackson Brown) I got into a motorcycle accident that nearly ripped my right leg off , got married 8 weeks later, got out of having to go to Viet Nam, all in all , a pretty busy year for me, huh?
