Word of warning to anybody leaving MoP and heading south on 95/128. On the on-ramp, keep to the right as you go under the overpass....Picked up my car with the freshly installed JCW kit (love it, BTW) and I ended up blowing two tires and bending two rims heading onto 95. I avoided the first hole, but the second one was silently lurking in the shadows waiting for me. Runflats are useless when the rim ain't quite round anymore.

Best part is, I wasn't the only one. Another owner picking up his MCS (ironically enough for a blown tire) blew out another tire on the same hole.

So, all in all, the $500 for the wheel/tire insurance was the best money I've ever spent. Thanks to Graham for taking care of me, and Joel for selling me the insurance!

Good news, bad news - wow!
I ventured in to Boston & back out today in the GP, and all four wheels survived - apparently I was very lucky

My MINI has a small wind shield crack already. What a crock of poop. Pickup truck glass is good for years and takes a fist size rock to make a dent, Subaru goes almost a year with a couple of nice hits to the glass and it is fully intact, Mazda went two years with various crap bouncing off the glass and it is intact, MINI takes a pebble at slow speed and has a divot. SSDD apparently with the glass.
