What do you have against them? I had the Paradas and loved them, plan to give Yoko more business next summer.

Yeah, what have you got against them Mr. R-compound-heat-cyled-special-track-tire-snob???
They are the most popular tire in the survey on the FAQ here, they rated highest in TireRacks test of mid-price tires, they ranked highly in the user reviews on TireRack... I wanted something that was a good all around tire, not prone to hydroplaning, not too noisy and not too expensive. I could have got Pilot Sports or Pole Positions, but that would have cost twice as much.
What would you have got..?

I would also like non-hydro quiet tires - let me know how these are for you, Gavin. Although presumably these are 17s?

Last I knew, Steve had Bridgestone Potenzas, same as the used ones I got recently. I think he was just trying to wind you up ...

Good to see that the order went through well. My last order with them got boggled up. I ordered the same tires and all, but they sent 4 individual Yoko Ono's. The screeching was unbearable.

Thank you, Mr. Imhof

Yeah right, won't you be surprised when every NH plate has MY picture on it. What the hell, I'll probably be making them so I might as well get some credit.

I predict, Ladies and Gents, that, within a reasonable amount of time, we will see the advent of TEAM COD . Further, I envision his scaliness' next purchase to be a custom painted team trailer replete with silly flames but with suitable space for sponsor logos. Then the pit crew, then the fireproof suit, then the endorsements.

I call on the photo manipulators to give us a preview of this disasterous event. Perhaps the Cod's head on Cannonball's corpus or the cowboy hat with a splayed fish tail on the front. Yikes!

as for tires, I would have bought Toyo TAs

Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear.

Steve,
You still haven't said what tires you'd buy for $400 - $500 for the set...
