Kudos to Pete Eames for restoring AC to Nigel for a $1000 less than quoted elsewhere (yeah - $400 of it was because I bought a used compressor) and got an oil change in to boot!

I second what Michael says. Pete transformed our aging 3-series into a like-new car at a very fair price. He has always done great work on our MINI so its great to know that the MINI's bigger brother has a terrific technician in Pete.

Now we just need to get Pete to take on warranty/covered service. Although I don't mind sitting here in the owners' lounge at MoP (but it's a bit lonely today). In for routine service (25k) new wiper blades and a new dipstick. Think I'll go chat with the big H.

The MoP lot is nearly empty. Nothing for sale.

My good friend Kathy (once was our roommate, til we threatened to bring kids into the picture) has her new Clubman (replacement for a 10 yr. old Xterra) and loves it. She's not much of a group kinda girl, but I'm trying to trick her into coming to MAMA's Blueberries. In the meantime, if you see a dark red/black Clubman around Somerville, give a wave.
