Me too. And I don't even know who I'm laughing at. But I'll even the score. A few years ago, I was unloading field gear after a long day in the..(you guessed it)..field. I had pulled the "rig" up near the office but was taking stuff to another building. There was a shorty two-foot ledge behind me, but as it turned out, not much else. Went right over backwards. Fortunately I had no Dell hard drive, no other computer, nor anything too expensive with me. Got up, and looked around. Thank God no one saw me fall, but I'm sure it woulda made a pretty damn funny video...

I was shoveling snow today , and I went head over heels. Impressively enough, I was mid-snow toss, so the shovel ended up going straight up and then back down on my head (with snow). Fortunately for the condo association, my hands hit the pavement instead of my noggin. I can just imagine the fee for scrapping up brains... blergh

Since we are such a coordinated bunch try this at the holiday party: While sitting or standing (your choice) lift your right leg up, point your toes and begin circling your foot to the right (clockwise) then with your right hand trace the number 6 in the air. And don't you know - the foot changes direction! cool... “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” - Alexis de Tocqueville Eric the Red

...The stockings were filled by chimney with care by a tired old dad whose wallet is bare. While his family sleeps all snug in their beds dreams of presents dance in their heads To make a long story short and a wide one narrow the point of this rhyme is not for the callow This old man is happy to have his children at home, It has been a while - they usually phone But now they are here under his roof. Listen! - the jingle of bells and the sound of a hoof and hear him exclaim before he turns in for the night: "Merry Christmas to all - everything's just right!" “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” - Alexis de Tocqueville Eric the Red

Ho Ho Ho - Hope you're all having a merry one... I'll 2nd the "simple is good" sentiment - it's been mighty crazy here for the last couple of weeks - the ice storm 2 weeks ago hit us pretty bad, but at least no major damage to house or cars. We lost power for a week, went through 7 boxes of fake fire logs, froze a couple of heating pipes, threw out all our food & just got phone & cable/internet back yesterday. That certainly put a kink in our Christmas plans, but we pulled it off - it's sure nice to relax for a change.
