Hmmm ... so I won't buy any of your new MAMA merchandise then ...

A reminder that the SCDA has room for more drivers in all run groups at New Hampshire International Speedway on Monday, August 9 and Tuesday August 10.
This is a great track for Novice class. Lots of turns and top speed is only about 90 on the straight. If you have been considering it now is your chance.
Check out www.scda1.com and tell Ian Prout I sent you (NO, I don't get compensated. But, I would love to see more MINI buddies there. I'll buy you lunch if you come on the 10th)

Missing my buddies Dan, Ed, and Diane but glad I have three angel buddies, And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs

Unless the cafe closes on you again ...

No helmets for me, so no on-track days - but from the sidelines the event looked fabulous, so in the car I guess it is better still!

Ian, I think you can get loaner helmets.

Maybe I'll do this one... that way *I* can take the new tires for a spin before Jane gets to use them for the ADSS... They'll last more than one track day, right...? (Cue chance for Steve to wind me up some more)

Hmmm....from that distance they look just like 2004 MINIs, no I mean 2003 MINIs, no wait, I mean 2002 MINIs.

Or a combination of all 3? Or 4?

Gavin, you should get at least one track day from those POS tires.

I don't like the headlights on the 2005 MINIs. They're ugly. Too much bling-bling IMHO. Over-bling is a very bad thing.

They are not bling bling...I love them. Then again...you like the Scion, I think it's uggs. You like a big rack, I like a little one. Roof rack I am talking about.

What's with those bad photoshops of big wheels Steve, surely you can find some real ones...

Anyone know how I can get to and find the horn? It sounds like a few of the tones are gone so it sounds like a "meep meep" sissy car horn now. Not like it originally is that great, but better than what it is now!

Anyway, if I can't seem to knock it back into shape once I find it, I think we should pick a day to meet at MOP and get Steve to buy us lunch! Last time he offered to pay but of course it was buffet...what a cheapskate.

I thought when I took the bumper off that it looked like there were two horns, one on each side near where the headlights would come down... Just inboard of the lights maybe...
Could the eep eep have anything to do with the PIAA install...? Our Jeep sounds like that too - very weedy on such a big car!

Meep Meep. That alone brought me back to OddTodd, haven't been there in a while.

Gav, okay I will look tomorrow...and no. I am pretty sure it sounded weak a few days ago, before the lights.

So, which day should I choose; the Monday or the Tuesday... Or can you self-employed types spend two days at the track..? Will your heat cycled R compounds last for two days of supertrapp & nitrous..?
