When I opened the pantry door this morning I was greeted by the overwhelming odor of beer. There on the floor was a huge puddle of brown stuff, boxes saturated and wet, glass spewed about.
A bottle of Naughty Winslow's Breakfast Stout committed suicide. I was saving it for a nice crisp Fall evening but it couldn't wait.
Now I'm really worried about the bottle that's in the fridge I guess I better drink it tonight just in case.

Okay I am back from MOP. I had a fantastic time meeting up with all of you..............jerks.

Anyway, they did the 25k service at 31 and change. Drove the car into the garage at 8, got it back just after 11. It was pretty slow in there today. Keith showed up right at 10 and I checked out his Audi. Man that yellow is uggs.

Apparently my headlamp washer was working this morning so they didn't touch that, and they have to order the high pitched horn. I guess the kid put in the same low one as the other side and it sounded kind of weird...so a high one has been ordered.

Nothing to add.

I understand. I was joking.

Also, the Convertible blind spot is pretty bad. Those seats in the back are huuuuge and you can't see jack back there.

They also replaced my PVC hose because it was squishy and sounds like a donkey when you let off the throttle. Finally got those little black things to go under the hood to prevent rubbing. Already rubbed a lot but what the hell, got 'em anyway.

waaah...

MINI of Peabody is too popular for their own good. Or for our good. Or something.

I just called to schedule my next service (the big honkin, pay for it yourself inspection), and I'm not scheduled until next tuesday! I'll be overdur by then. Okay, I'll be overdue no matter what, the counter says 175 miles and they're 200 miles away. That's what I get for motoring around the nether regions of Vermont yesterday. Well, that and a speeding ticket

You should have called earlier...they were taking appointments for next Monday when I was in there.

Nope. The check already went out in the mail. We have differing opinions on this issue. The way I see it, I was wrong, I got caught. I played nice with the officer, not asking for anything, but not playing games either. I caught a slight break... a fine on the low side of what's possible, and only 2 points instead of 5 (for 20+ over the speed limit).

He asked if there was a reason I was in a hurry, or if I was just seeing what the car could do. I had an involuntary smile at that one.

I am not trying to convert anyone, but it is easier to fight your first ticket than the last one before a suspension...
