| Josh, nobody wanted this to drag on. The votes are going to be counted...but it is unlikely Kerry would have 90% of those in his favor. It was close...but you just aren't going to get a city slicker from the northeast to beat a cowboy from Texas. "Just keep heading into the wind. Don't let anything blow you over." | A cowboy from Teaxs who was originally from the NorthEast, schooled in the NorthEast. Where did we fail him? I'm ashamed of ourselves. Bush, George Walker, 1946–, 43d president of the United States (2001–), b. New Haven, Conn. The eldest son of President George H. W. Bush, he was was raised in Texas and, like his father, attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass., and Yale, graduating in 1968. He subsequently earned a Harvard M.B.A. (1975) and worked in the oil and gas industry (1975–86). Bush helped manage his father's 1988 presidential campaign, then became managing partner (1989–94) of the Texas Rangers baseball team. http://www.allhatnocattle.net |

| I stayed up all night watching the returns and results. As far as Ohio goes, Kerry would never of won it. Here is why: Of those 150,000 provisional ballots, only at most 20% (based on past elections in Ohio, they said usually 8-20% are counted, the rest are found to be fraud or unable to verify) would make it. So 30,000 more votes, now they say most of those are Democrat, it still wouldn't be enough. As for the Absentee Ballots, almost all of those were from the Military, who in this case are mostly for Bush. So that wouldn't of helped Kerry either. So it was just easy to not fight and go out still looking good, instead of dragging everything on and on... Amazing what you learn at 3AM from the news channels... | See that's what I don't get... I should have been paying more attention to how the primaries worked but it seems to me as an outsider that a lot of people weren't happy with Kerry and I don't think anyone would win just as a protest against the other guy. There seemed to be a lot more anti-Bush then pro-Kerry sentiment, even amongst Democrats, even when the party bash was held in Boston. Has anyone correlated whether the 'battleground' states that Kerry needed to win and didn't backed him in the primaries or not..? Could that be where it all fell apart..? ![]() Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else. |

| Best to soak the bed linens in a 5% solution of Lindane, or a gallon of Quell. Then wash repeated with high temp. Crank up the water heater to Max for that. Or call these people. You could possibly get on the discount plan with Cod''s nearby neighbors. http://www.newarkcarting.com/ Good luck. Others haver had to use stronger measures. |

| Perhaps I'll just get lucky and he'll baker the whole thing. MINI is at new Country for recalls and 25,000 oil change. Dropped it off last evening. There was a BMW M3 with the most outrageous bling bling wheels and white euro tail lights. Closer inspection saw huge upgraded brakes. A carbon fiber hood and trunk lid. Badged with a "Schnitzer" (sp). Looks as if it's ready to run. |
