operation name change

I am so very touched to read that my good friend jcsinnh, better known as John, is going to change his name after "the operation". Was it something Maxamini said?

Glad to know that even though I don't see what's going on in here, it's still going on... It's so Zen like... Does one hear the sound of a tree falling in the forest?

In today's world of insanity, it's heart warming to know that you all are still filling up the pages here on MINI2 with your own endearing form of craziness. I feel so much better now for having just read a couple of pages!

Oh baked one, my parents used to bring us each one of those plastic "back scratchers" with the long skinny handle with a monkey paw at the scratching end. Want one? Or maybe a post card instead?

I haven't really been "away" just off to one side. Still licking my wounds after election day has come and gone.

Ed is, as usual, so kind to me.

P.S. Reader's Digest is so right - laughter is the best Rx!

When my parents would go to dinner they would bring us back breadsticks. WhooHoo. I continued the tradition. They'd give us the playing cards from the airlines. Yeah airlines used to give 'em away along with those three paks of cigarettes..

OTRA if you think I've been kind just wait 'till Secco shows up.

Huh. I just got the monkey paw. Cool for the first couple of days, but then it'd start get somewhat of a pong.

Rather than risk that, I'll take a postcard. Send it to Max, I'll "know" when it arrives.

Max.You need to go to the bathroom. Now.

Incredible. Just left Peabody, got 1 door fixed (freezing issue), my car got washed there.

When I need to go in for the colonoscopy will you be there for me?

What is does it mean when something becomes "a pong" - as in my monkey paw back scratcher present?

Colonoscopy? Are you of that age already?

Tomorrow at the break of dawn, I am going under the knife for rotator cuff "repair". I must try to get as much typing in today for I will have to "go away" again for a while, and I promise this time to bring back better presents... Perhaps some Citrucel might be in order?

Aha, a pong - indeed? Perhaps a bath might help?

So sorry about the rusty nail and your eye. I follow Jack Nicholson's example and try to wear my shades at all times, hoping to avoid your sort of operation - who knows if it will work.

Ed, will you bring me bread sticks in bed?

I told them it was longer than a twenty dollar bill. She got the manager for me.

Oh, it's longer than a dollar bill. I'm going the "make a huge stink and get them to fix it under warranty because it never should have done this in the first place" route rather than involving the insurance company.

Right now I'm running a little race, there's the part where the crack veers to the left, but at the point where it turns left, another spur has developed that started upward about five inches then turned to the right. So I'm keeping tabs on the two to see which can make it further by Friday (when it goes in for it's replacement). Thus far the one going left is winning, but that one going right is a real go-getter, it's made up a lot of ground in a short amount of time, I think it could catch up. I wonder if the fact that the leftward one is in the black part of the glass and the rightward one is up in the clear part will make a difference. I'm sure the lethal combination of Vermont potholes and our late winter "above freezing/below freezing/above freezing/below freezing/etc." weather (34° during the day, 21° at night) will speed it along...
