| That is an excellent camera. I had the S100, Susan has the S200...and now I have an S400. There is another Canon model that is more slim than that series - but that model probably costs $400 or so, but that's just a guess. It's still a small camera which you can easily fit in your pocket. I'm a big fan of it but if I was going to get a new one it would probably be the skinnier one. For $250 though it's great. "Just keep heading into the wind. Don't let anything blow you over." | I just bought the Canon Digital Elph (SD200) for my daughter for $300. It's a really nice package -- plenty on options, but excellent as point and shhot, and the size means she'll not think twice about taking it along. It also has very little shutter lag, which is always a problem with lower proced digital cameras. ![]() |

Sounds like you should be on the www.masscops.com threads......

I looked on that thread. It looked as though some of them were trying to have intelligent conversations and others were just spouting off at the mouth. I mean no comparsion to the thread though. I had Louis look at the specs because I am camera dumb. We have a Panasonic that is 2.2MP so this woould be quite a jump. Thanks for all the help!

I've got the previous model, the A80 and it's very capable. You can use it as a point and shoot, but it has all the control you'd want if you want to try to do manual stuff too. It also takes AA batteries which is very useful for us when we're using it on vacation as an underwater camera. The smaller models take Canon propriatary battery packs and if you forget to charge it, you're out of luck. I've had many Canon cameras and I've liked them all - I'm sure you'll do great with the A95 ![]() Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.

Can't really say, haven't had much to do with the new crew. The young guy, David, seems friendly and enthusiastic enough, although it feels a bit like dealing with a high school kid as a car salesman. I'm only 31, I don't like being made to feel that old. I've only had brief interaction with what's-her-name (Andrea?). When my mother bought her MCC last fall, I mainly set the deal up for her remotely thru my salesman (Rex) even though he was technically out of that department by then (my mother hates dealing with car sales people, so I did a lot of the legwork for her). When it came time to put her order into the system, the new pair tried to stick Mum with some fat "A.D.M. fee" (additional dealer mark-up), I forget how much, but one call to Rex made that go away, so she ended up paying sticker. When a previous customer who bought an MCS and a Works kit from you brings you a gift-wrapped MCC sale, it's kinda bad form to try to gouge them. Regardless, from what I saw on on Friday the A.D.M. crap has since gone away... -Ricardo PS Michigan State sucks!
