Returned Monday from our anniversary trip up north. We stayed at the Hartness House in Springfield, VT. It was reall quite loverly! We signed the papers on Monday to become official New Hampshireites (although I think we will remain Flatlanders for quite sometime) The move is still up in the air a bit, I am anxious to go-Louis wants to spend as much time at work. We need to be vacated out of out present living situation by Sept 1 so that is the plan.

The Drive-In sounds like a great idea but alas we will not be able to attend.

Just a note for those interested in www.careforkeith.com, I'm auctioning off a piece of musical history on the For Sale forum. This band's best known song always reminds me of 3M.

BTW, ideas for inexpensive performance tires for ol' SCAR-GO? She's still for sale but the rears are slick and the fronts not far behind. 17" and no run-flat ideas please. Tanks. Saw 3M's new ride yesterday....fits.

But my real question is: which Mini/MINI did you fit these in? I know they are stackable sections but it still must have been a tight squeeze!

You are so correct! It was a very tight fit. Three stacks in the back and one riding shotgun with the base and crown(?) resting comfortably in the boot.

Well, I'm off! Have a lovely day!

Better yet:

7/17/05
Texas Governor Rick Perry signed into law today HB 2257, allowing 80 mph daytime car speed limits on parts of interstates 10 and 20 and making more counties eligible for 75 mph daytime car speed limits. The bill is effective immediately although the higher limits won't be effective until posted.

Spending more money....

I've ordered a helmet. Nobody has those silly things in stock for you to try on. I stopped at HMS when I was down that way last week and they only had one size large helmet in the shop.

Appointment is made for "tech inspection" and brake fluid change. With almost 78,000 miles now, I figure it's a good idea to have someone who knows what they're looking at give my MINI the once over before I throw it around the track again, so I found the local shop that has techs who also race, and specializes in BMWs.

I still need to get a hotel room for NHIS at the end of the month.

But, it will all be worth it.

GRRRR>>>

I'm so p i s s e d right now... we just ordered two A/C units from Home Depot and when they came they were wrong, so HD said they would have someone come by, pick them up and send us the correct units... well, they couldn't come when one of us was off work... of course... so they tell us "yeah just stick them on your porch and we'll be by between 8 and 5pm to pick them up".. nice.. well guess what?... Stacey comes home tonight to find a note on the front door stating "Hey we came by and they weren't out there" (I stuck them on the porch before I left for work at about noon)... guess what?!?!.. they were freakin stolen! I swear to god I am gonna... ok, nevermind, I gotta go now.. just had to vent..

That sucks - But Baker is looking pretty cool (and not in the way he thinks). I'd be suspicious...

Yes, if you have any sense of musical history. Plus I know you have at least some taste, thus R. Randolph. Kooper is a fine and well traveled musician. He charges way to much for his solo gigs but he gets it so what the hay? Baker snookums likes him and so don't I.
(I've always wanted to type that but my fingers would never permit it before now. Wow, a Worcester landmark, "so don't I". I'm damp with excitement)
