What A DAY

Then off to have lunch with my sister 35 miles of twisty back roads away here She is with Ghillie and her brand new Saturn (she parks on the street in front of her house in Cambridge and the Saturn's plastic dent proof body is a must have for her for now) note the color match!

This last one is of the Dash as I parked at the Motel a few minuets ago... I plan a short Moonlight drive later unless I fall asleep it has been a long day note WGBH FM on the radio tomorrow I get The XM Direct installed

The Adventure has begun!
First thing to buy tomorow A California car duster! my wheels were filthy tonight! and the hatch dusty after only 83 spirited miles of area back roads... keeping it under 4500 for the next 1100 miles will be tough
Should the drivers window have a bad wind whistle at speeds over 80 mph (not that I would know of course)
the perma grin has struck!

Congratulations on the delivery of your new baby! Can't wait to see it after you finish cleaning out your living room and installing all those pre-birth goodies.

Sharp looking ride Windshadow..!
The window shouldn't whistle... There have been issues with loose trim either at the A pillar or along the gutter, or maybe the window isn't closing fully when the door shuts. Either way, see if you can take in a detour to MOP tomorrow and see if there's a quick fix.
The rear hatch is always the dirtiest part of a MINI..!

MINI Peabody did well to get your MINI to you Randolph.
Talking with Martin yesterday, they still have difficulty getting plates due to the "Certificate Of Origin" which does not arrive in due time after the cars.
On top of which, sadly one of the techs left MOP this week to go back to working on racing cars! Two days notice so they are a little overloaded ... and my second visit yesterday did not help either

Congrats, Windshadow!
Those side view mirrors are tres cool.
The whistling is hopefully an easy fix.
Two days after getting Stryker we stayed in a hotel in Providence and I slept terribly. I kept getting up to look out the window to make sure he was ok.

Missing my buddies Dan, Ed, and Diane but glad I have three angel buddies, And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs

Which Tech left?
And, why were you in twice yesterday? Is it still leaking oil?

"Which Tech left" ...
I forgot Not Brian but the other guy who had come from track work. I was distracted yesterday by ...

"Twice yesterday" ...
No oil leaks. First visit was friendly - passing by, borrowing the spa guys services, checking out Randolphs new wheels, that sort of thing.
Second visit was, to quote my weblog due to Stupid Driver syndrome.

Thanks Every one! I am over the Moon and Ghillie is parked right under my window so I can keep an eye on him!
The other thing that has to be fixed tomorrow is the American accent that the Nav system lady has and the other language needs to be german and not spanish... is there a male UK voice avalable?
what do they have to do? tell the Nav system it is in a UK car?
I have decided that Ghillie is very defiantly Male after todays drive
I will be here at the motel till Thur. AM when I head down to visit a friend in Old Lyme, CT and then on to perhaps eastern PA to visit Steamtown http://www.nps.gov/stea/ in Scranton and then back to the Cape in time for the 9:15AM ferry to Nantucket on Tue.

Then I will be back visiting my sister in Cambridge on the 21st or so for prep (fix any squaks that I have found for the COOPERS for CAREGIVERS run then on Monday the 26th I head south for the Blueridge parkway and the Dragon Run... after that on south to Fl and my Retirement hunt... back to Bar Harbor by the 15 of June or so for the MOT...
Motor On Indeed!

I've found a pic of Mrs. Cod!

Through a painstaking search, I was able to obtain a recent picture of the much better half of CCM in her natural habitat.

I understand the 100 lb. tank in front is the nitrous......
