Just got a raise. MINI needs nothing. Guess it's time to treat myself.

I'm such a Yankee though. Do I need to spend it? And what do I do with my iBook? Give it to John the Second I mean Secco, make him see the brighter side?

Are they that much better or is it like Dem vs. Republican or GM vs. Ford? We had two Apples in the past and they were both a POS.

Had you not put the order in for the Dell I'd drag your ass to an Apple Store and at least give you a professional demonstration of "The Other Side".

What did you have before? What was the problem? Apple did have it's dark days of hardware, if you bought into it at that time I can't blame your thoughts.

Good Rum......but again I digress.

I do sense that MINI owners on the whole are carry a larger percentage of Mac ownership than the general population. Just my guess from the posts I've seen out there, with the little asides.

Good Rum......mixing it with Guinness now.

We had Brain Awareness Day where I work today. 45 4th grade kids in to see what scientists do with researching anomolies of the brain. One kid was real astute, he commented "I don't see any PCs, just Macs". Turns out he was a Mac kid. Seemed to be pretty happy to point out to his classmates the lack of PCs.

Steve,
Democrat or Republican..?
I know politicians are basically the same, but with an avatar like yours, you're using that as an analogy..!!?? Or were you trying to make our point for us..? That you Dell is Bush and our Macs are any Democrat..?
BTW, check out what you can get from Apple for $1000. It's pretty close to your Dell's spec isn't it..? (It's a long way back to actually find what you bought!)

Yeah. And don't Worry Baketjc - wasn't calling you republican. Steve was gettin teased due to his analogy and his preference for Windblows. The president's on TV. Think he's ever seen a Mac?

I shouldn't think he's ever seen a computer..!
Mostly, all he's seen is the wide open spaces of his Texas ranch isn't it..? Didn't I read that he's spent more time away from the White House (Texas, Camp David and Kennybunkport) than any other pres..?

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thought. By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally.

The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and consider each line - this is important for the test to work accurately.

You're in Florida...In Miami, to be exact... There is great chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and severe floods ....... There are huge masses of water all over you.... But you are a CNN photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless.

You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water. Nature is showing all its awesome power and is ripping everything away with it.

Suddenly you see a man in the water, he is fighting for his life, trying not to be swept away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar. Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away...forever. You have two options. You can save him or you can take the greatest photo of your life.

So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer prize winning photo. A unique photo displaying the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

And here's the question: (Please give an honest answer)

Would you select color film, or go with the simplicity of classic black and white?
