your making me hungry!!!!!

All this talk of yummy desserts. How about treacle tarts or treacle pudding? And rice pudding with skin and strawberry jam mixed in to make it pink? Trifle with lots of sherry in the sponge!!!!!!!!

Yum!!

My husband always tells me that all the English receipes always find some way to put some extra animal fat in them.

Oh yeah Mum's Christmas pudding with hard sauce!! (no more money wrapped in foil in them, she says we are too old )

Happy spring,

Joanne

Treacle Tart
How about meringues - or for the executive, raspberry pavlova!

Anyway, this web site looks like the best place to go for proper British desserts - including of course spotted ! Not too sure about the picture of treacle tart though ... this picture is better:

(another good web site)

Anyone hungry yet?

REmind me to stay out of Safari parks on my trip

LONDON, England (Reuters) -- A rampant rhinoceros gave a group of visitors a glimpse of nature in the raw at a British safari park when he tried to have sex with their car.

Sharka, a two-ton white rhino, got amorous with Dave Alsop's car when he stopped with three friends to take pictures of the animal mating with his partner Trixie at the West Midland Safari Park.

The 12-year-old rhino tried to mount the Renault Laguna from the side, denting the doors and ripping off the wing mirrors before Dave drove away with a puffing Sharka in pursuit.

"He was a big boy and obviously aroused," Alsop told the Sun newspaper on Thursday.

"He sidled up against us. The next thing I know he's banging away at the car and it's rocking like hell."

A spokeswoman for the park, which says "rhinos are not particularly intelligent animals" on its Web site, said Sharka was a hit with the female rhinos and had fathered two calves in the last five years.

"He's got a bit of a reputation this lad and he was obviously at it again," she added.

So he had a go at the exhaust pipe then?

When we visited Longleat in England and drove through their animal park those crazy monkeys were all over the car. One particularly horny monkey sat on the passenger side mirror and played with himself much to the amusement of my kids.

Not much... I was trying it on a school parking lot right after I installed it, but there was a mail truck parked there and I didn't want him calling the police..! It does seem sharper, but I left it on the softer setting until Sunday in case it made the rear too crashy over potholes. It doesn't seem to have done, so I'll move it up to the stiffer setting soon.

I have a great monkey pic. to go with your quote but I fear it's too graphic.
