It reminded me of the joke "What do you call parachuting lawyers?"
"Skeet"

Of course, considering that my daughter, sister, brother-in-law, grandfather and multiple uncles and cousins are lawyers, I have to choose my jokes carefully. Most of them I get from my sister.

99% of all lawyers give the rest a bad name.

I had to google neti pot. Never heard of it. And once I saw the pics... I still had never heard of it. I just know it doesn't look like something I want to do.

Hey... believe it or not, that Neti pot works awesome for people with reallllly bad sinus issues like myself, I had something like that one time... gave me the worst headache the first time I tried it (not to mention it was very hard to get used to), but it was an awesome alternative to sinus surgery... they still want me to have that done.. screw that!.. I used to have a boss back in FL, who was one of the toughest guys I've ever met.. he'd had back surgey and was back to work about 3 days later (way against his doctor's wishes), he also had a tumor taken out of his thigh muscle that was about the size of a grapefruit and he was back to work within a couple days, the list goes on and on, but when he had the sinus surgery he was out for 4 weeks!... I canceled my appointment for surgery the day he got back and told me about what he went through... I'd much rather suffer the humiliation of using the Neti pot over havign the surgery (consequently, I gotta find me one of those again..)

My ex MiL has been snorting salt water for decades as her father did before her. And this woman is so bloody proper that she has pearls ranging from casual to dinner at Buckingham Palace. Hey, she's 85-ish so.....
Then there's my crunchy-granola kid sister who has just picked up the habit. She puts some zinc in there too. She's a 1st grade teacher so around sick kids constantly. Seems to have kept her well.
A clear headed Derek is a very scary thought.
