Anyone know anything about this post over on NAM?

Doesn't look like it was a MINI thing last time, but maybe it could become one

They didn't make it on to the car today... who knows when they will.

And, they're the "old" Azenises (Azenii?), not the "new" RT-615 ones.

The 16x7.5" Kosei K1 / Azenis combo is definitely light and wide, though... really wide.

Looks like it started as an Acura thing: Acurazine

Here's a thread from that board with pics of the event: Acura Meet Pics

I'd be up for a drive down if it looks llike there's any MINI interest.

This is not meant to be sad or maudlin but.......the other day, I was working on a long boring annual report from a large boring broker. Cut and paste, cut and paste, check and verify, call this fund mgr., call that fund mgr., the usual marginally creative stuff and I thought, "Lord, what I would do for a call from Ed Smith right now."

Then yesterday, I had a delivery at Keene's newest sporting mega-store "Richards" (not really but you know..) and there he was again. I went to the golf department and, I swear to the gods, I felt vibes. Uncanny, scary, yet warm as well.

I'm losing it but that's OK.

Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear.

I just finished watching this week's Top Gear episode, it has got to be one of the best ever! The mini ski jump as posted on motoringfile is just one of many great bits.
I'm glad to see they are making a real US Top Gear, but I strongly doubt they can live up to the real thing.
If you know what you are doing you can get it here.

It is fantastic, I make sure that on Sunday nights I am in my room in time to watch. Too bad they are in between seasons.

Here's one of those unusual websites- the premise being re-enactments of movies by rabbit cartoons in 30 seconds...

No Top Gear tonight on BBC2, just Olympic coverage during its time slot. Maybe after or most likey in March when the winter programing is done and the spring programing will start...(Waiting for the next season of Doctor Who as well...)

Where are you getting BBC2 from..??

Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else.
