Tulips, my boy, not posies. Neatsfoot oil? How quaint. Nope, these days you take the trapper to the skate shop, have it baked in a convection oven (15 minutes @ 160°F) to activate the thermoformable materials, then you flex the glove repeatedly to get it to take the shape of your hand. Breaking in a glove, 2006 style. That's just asstacular. Let me add my voice to the chorus of "if you need anything, let me know". -Ricardo

Harvey - Pam and I lost almost everything to a flood years ago... We are sooo sorry for your losses and the complete pain in the assness of it all. One piece of advise: record what you can before you heave it all - pictures/notes/video - helps out huge later with insurance if covered or proving losses on your taxes. and ditto on the help “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” - Alexis de Tocqueville Eric the Red

Sorry to hear of the flood-related problems. Even though we're quite some distance away we're indirectly affected as well. My sister lives in the northeast corner of Mass, a few miles south of the NH border and owns a condo in a complex that is located directly across the street from the Merrimack River. She was awakened at 6AM this morning by the police pounding on everyone's doors saying the building had to be immeditely evacuated. She packed a few things along with her cats and ended up just being able to drive away. She says another 30 minutes or so and the water would have been too deep to get through.

Laurie & I just spoke with Harvey. They are safely ensconsed at the Comfort Inn in Merrimack. Right now the immediate need is clothing and chocolate. Cooper is safe and sound ( Harvey snuck him in in a blanket). Right now the immediate need is clothing (Just remember their sizes. ) and chocolate. A MAMA rescue mission may be in order this weekend.

| It might be a good idea to identify someone's mailing address who lives near where Harvey and Terry are located. If that person could also do periodic deliveries, that would be ideal. H & T may change locations in the near future, so an established (and dry) address in the vicinity would allow us to send stuff to them and ensure it's arrival and delivery. Also, this might be considered an invasion privacy but ... if we knew what sizes are needed for the various items, it would also help. Um...I'm figuring MY size will not fit either of them!
