| No dogs here and the storm just passed through. Not going to the US GP - I'd like to see more than 7 cars go around Going to the Canadian though... much closer..! ![]() Religion is like a huge dog. If it's yours it's very friendly and comforting, but it scares the heck out of everyone else. |

| Surely there will be more than 6 cars running...there are more Bridgestone teams this year . I'm going to both the US GP & Canadian GP (and the Indy500). Honestly, Indy isn't a great place to see an F1 race (last year was the first time since it has been at Indy that I didn't attend)...you can't get very close to the cars and the infield bit is pretty mickey mouse. One thing that is kind of cool is seeing an F1 car come off Turn 1 and onto the front straight. |

| Rayno, So for our first NA GP you wouldn't suggest the Indy venue? Unfortunately, I can't fit the Canadian GP into our schedule. If we do go, what are the chances of a caravan with you? | Hey Theo...I hate to admit this, but I really wouldn't unless you can't make Canada. I'm not driving out, I'm flying to Columbus first because I stay in Ohio at Wright Patterson (a good friend of mine is an officer in the Navy so I get officer quarters at the base). We could definitely try to meet up at the Speedway for the race and/or qualifying... It would be pretty easy because things are pretty loose at Indy. So loose in fact, that we stopped buying full price tickets and just get General Admission when we arrive. |

| Hmmm...If I'm going to spend beaucoup $$ on our first F1 experience, then I'd like it to be memorable (in a good way). This might take some doing, but there is a possibly that (with luck and the right wind direction) things could be rearranged to allow us to go to Montreal. I think Gavin is going, and I know a number of folks have been in the past. I guess I'm not sure what this would cost, or even if tickets/lodging can be arranged on such short notice. I guess I need some off-line advice before I get mired in the task of rescheduling. If anyone can take the time to help me get started with finding tickets and lodging, PM me and help me sort through what I need to know/do. TIA, Theo (eh?)
