36 days at a horse track - that is a looong stay!
Can we take the MINIs on the track when the horses are resting? I guess through instead of over the jumps!?

PS: GREAT poster!

Saratoga Springs is an absolutely beautiful spot! Just FYI you might want to check out the Saratoga Performing Arts Center's website for what else is going on - from music, to ballet, etc. You can also "take the waters" at the springs!

If I'm free, I'd love to come...just can't commit right now due to offspring's schedule - but it's a great spot and the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame isn't too far away, either.

First love: MC CVT Indi Blue/White '04
Past MINI: MC CVT PW/Black '06
Present MINI: MCCa Pure Silver/BLK '09 w/roof rails

John and I will construct ramps for one day of jumping. The other 35 have been reserved at the local body shop.

Okay then let's look at this.

"A Day at the Races" I'm in. RDRII early spring. MOT early summer. Dragon Run yet another Major.
I'll need something after I return from family vacation. Thinking late summer third week of August would be good for me. Who else? When. Do we need a poll?

I'll help anyway and go if it works. Would like mid week but ..whatever works.

Let's plan a meeting at the Jazz Club up Keene way. I could ski and have dinner with MAMA on the way home.

Jackson will pay our bill? You must mean Jackman. We owe you a round from the ferry.
Hey Peter. Wanna play golf in Saratoga? We wouldn't need carts. We could play outta the Mini. Just stay on cart paths. Believe me they fit. MINI Golf anyone. Don't ask how I know they fit. GMINI did the sidewalk run. I'm sure he's in. Right JohnBoy

Okay Mart my bride will join us. We need a fourth or as many as want to play.
Just nine quick holes for funsies. The more the merrier.

Peter, remember on the last leg of RDR we passed a golf course which was initially below us on the right. We then took a right and passed through the grounds. I had tossed a ball out of the sunroof and it trickled unto the green as a group was teeing off on a par three. We then passed them as they continued the hole. They saw the moon roof shot and gave us a thumbs up and waved. One of many happy RDR moments. Thanks again.

Uh Oh...Secco's gonna jump all over this idea.

As far as dates go weekdays are better for slimmer crowds but if we want to open things to as many as possible we'll have to go with a weekend. The first or second weeks are best since the Travers (highest attendance) runs on the third Saturday.

Looks like poll time is approaching.

Agree most participants would be wekend friendly. It's far enough away in both time and distance to make it worthwhile for me as a multiday stay. Would get up day early or hang on a few days after. Second week would work.
