As I'm sitting here watching the snowflakes curl lazily outside my window, the forecast says snow showers the rest of the week.
My JCW has the Dunlop high performance tires (17" V, not M&S), I am waiting until next fall to get my snows.
So, given the forecast, if you were me, would you drive the MINI? I'm taking mostlly hwy, Rte. 128 & Mass Pike. It's not a hardship to take my old winter car to work, with the exception that I miss driving my bad boy!
I may have to take the back roads through Lincoln (land of no road salt & speed traps), Sudbury, Framingham, & Marlboro -- so they'll be less clear than the Mass Pike.
I wouldn't drive the MINI... I've parked mine for three days now... even though the main roads are clear. I just don't want to take a chance, especially when I only got it two weeks ago. I talk to her every night I get home and make her feel better
MINI Luv!

<sigh> The sun's out, the roads are dry....shoulda taken it! But, more snow showers in the forecast for tmrw, so of course, it'll probably be a blizzard
1 day? 3 days? How about parked since Thanksgiving day 2003!!!! 3800 miles and still going strong, will need an oil change in 2 more years...
Benefits: Warm Garage, No salt, No roadrash, cheap insurance and a whole lot of MODS!!

Even if something was to happen to it .. it's not that bad .. 34 days after I recived my BRG MCS .. I was rearended by a 3/4 ton Pickup. The deck lid is about $250, like the rest of the panels. Labor is what was the most costly .. in total the bill ran about $2400. I had passengers in front and rear and the PU hit me at about 40mph to 50mph ... with the way the MINI stood up to the bully PU. The little scrapper held his own! Wish I had taken pics of the damage ...
