| 1) That takes actual people-skills like asking MOP if we can do it and whatever. I don't want to do that, if you do, then feel free and set that up. I just was thinking a rest stop on the side of the road. 2) Even though it will be early Saturday, pulling out of that lot as a group is always tough. 3) MOP is pretty far out of the way. The NH State Liquor Store should be on most everyone's route which makes it good. I am actually thinking that is better than somewhere near Boston now anyway. 4) #1 sounds like I am being an ass, but I'm not. Seriously if you want to set it up then go ahead, but I think it's too far out of the way. There is also pretty limited parking since they've always got so many cars there. | Well, yeah we can have different spots. If you want to see about MOP letting people gather there, that's fine. I will be at the liquor store. By the looks of it it will be just us so we might as well meet in Davis and get some quesadillas from Anna's first. "Just keep heading into the wind. Don't let anything blow you over." | 1) I will be in New Hampshire Friday lunchtime so I won't be joining you guys. 2) If you plan to get to Loon Mountain with everyone else, you will meet wherever about 7am? So I don't think it matters much about asking MOP for permission. 3) If you do want to meet at MOP, I can happily check with Martin - but from previous experience on similar matters his position will be "fine, no problem so long as I don't have to do anything" ... he is a busy man ![]() 4) The NH liquor store is well up into NH, but MOP is out of the way except for people (like me) in the North Shore. Hope I helped you ![]() By the way - you should post a link to this thread in the main MOT thread, and you should ask Steve to forward a link to all the signed-up MOTers ... |

| Well if you go up 93 you could meet at 37C Anderson Transportation Terminal/Logan Express Woburn. That is a good spot just north Boston at the junction of 93/128/95 with a huge parking lot and at that time of morning shouldn't be busy. Or you can hit the rest area just over the State line in Salem NH. Big open lot with easy access to the highway. Another spot is The NH Liquor Store north of Hooksett Tolls on 93 North. That spot could be a good place for a regrouping. Just be wary of NH State Police in Manchester, I got nabbed just before exit 10 back in October of last year, didn't think I could get a CVT Cooper to go that fast...
