Well, here it comes again!!! Your MAMA, the Monadnock Area Mini Association, will be hosting its second annual event on October 16th. Lots of details to follow here, on the MAMA website, and NAM. We will be following twisted roads with stops at five covered bridges located in Langdon and Cornish, New Hampshire; contact numbers; a variety of secondary drives for those of you who want to stick in the area, great music at The Rynborn (our official restaurant and blues club); a stamp for your journal; and a wonderful drive through our hills at peak(?) foliage time. We are planning a route with as many twisties as we can find that are paved, have beautiful vistas, and lots of opportunities to tromp on it or just cruise. So plan on joining us and MAMA on October 16th for a great day of driving. --- Stay tuned for more details! Bring a Picnic Lunch!!! | A yearling moose was wandering on my stretch of 123 just this AM, Dan. He was carrying a new Big Bertha so I pointed him toward Bedford. Her holiness saw one about 10 days ago...wonder if it is the same one? It also had a sign on it's back, WILL WORK for APOSTROPHES Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear. |
