The van said they swerved to avoid the mini making an illegal u-turn, the mini says it was hit when the van was going the wrong way down the street.

The news is saying that the MINI made an illegal u-turn and the Police truck was traveling in the wrong lane answering an emergency call with the lights and siren going. Not the best of circumstances for the MINI. Looks like it survived pretty well., left front fender and headlight.
