Someone was talking to me about a type of savenger hunt That uses the internet and road people. Some of the team looks up clues online and relays the answers to the rest of the team which has to use public transportation or walking to get around from one clue to another.
So... I was thinking what if we used mini2 for something like this. We could setup some teams... each team would have drivers and online members. The teams would have to follow clues which would require them to find things online. When the team finds the answer to the clue they relay it to the drivers and it leads them to the next piece of the puzzle.
I had the same idea for a-while now. Personally, I was getting tired by just driving behind each other and I was looking for something to do during the get-togethers. I ended up organizing a rally for November 14 at Mini of Peabody. It's a lot of work for what I hope to be a fun event. Anyway, I just thought I'ld share
hey rich, here's an idea.
set up a list of items to be gathered for the scavenger hunt, split the minis up into teams and off we go. that way, we still have multiple minis motoring together, not losing the spirit of it all, and we can all meet up at the end of the day in a hall of some sort w/dinner and all of the things we've scavenged. maybe an awards ceremony of some sort.
could be fun, maybe we can build on the idea. I'ld be glad to help w/planning and/or organizing on this one.
