At first I thought you were making a comment about Old Man Secco, but....
That is a great service - I'm making a list and checking it twice!
Thanks for the tip

Josh - since the photo kite hasn't flown yet maybe you could build one of these:
John W. Cornwell Beer Launching Fridge
If you get it to work I would like one for football season and I'm sure many others would as well

I saw that one. But you see, it's the kind of thing you could never finish because once you start testing it, after a while, you can't even turn a screwdriver anymore. I'm guessing the guy who made this one drinks odouls.

Sigma had some pretty cool announcements today...check out dpreview.com

That DP1 looks like a slick compact camera especially with the squred hood attached. Foveon sensorific.

The 18-200mm IS lens looks like a good choice for those of you (Ian?) with an SLR and don't want to deal with a bunch of lenses.

But did you see the size for that 200-500 f2.8? Holy crap!

Even O'Doul's doesn't come in a can, does it? I'd rather have rubber floors (and Jack Russell with field-goal range), personally.

18 - 200...! How is it that Sigma have more range than anyone else..? 18-200, 50-500... Do they compromise somewhere that others won't..?
And is that 200-500 a Photoshop..??!!??

OK, I went and looked at dpreview. I guess it's not a Photoshop but I still have ahard time believing it..! Kind of like the Head Up Display diving mask that's been announced as a new product at every annual DEMA show since 2002...

Well canon has a 28-300 so that's about the same zoom factor.
