33° with bigger patches of green here. Plenty of mud too.

Might be people looking for rental property or something to renovate this time of year. Hope someone bites soon for you.

28 and cloudy here. Coffee coming up! I think the investors may be smart enough to see some of the flaws that I missed, or at least things that would make it a difficult resale. It still has asbestos siding, which would be a major project to remove and only slightly less to cover up. At least I knew that the basement dirt floor would be an issue.

32° and climbing here. We hit 48° with sun all day yesterday. Finally back to green for the most part.

Ah...urban living. Our 1800's place would never pass inspection there.

Apparently, the rooms are too small for the investors to be interested. I describe the first floor bedrooms as "not enough room to swing a cat".

24 and 'light $%@#'. IT was coming down pretty fast when I drove home yesterday, though the total expected was 2-4". I was driving behind someone traveling 10 mph on a 30 mph street, who kept opening the driver's door periodically. My guess would be a) never saw snow before or b) wipers & defroster not working, or possibly both.

I have a request for the QQJs to go to England for a while- do you want to mail them from there, or send them to me and I'll mail them? (The customs form is always amusing- contents- rubber ducks)

Did the driver have green plates?

31° and sunny again this morning with light @#$%, then rain in the forecast for the rest of the week.

I'll send the ducks to you. They're really fed up with no skiing.

I'm pretty sure they were New York plates, but I was trying to stay as far back as I could. Might have been a transplant from VT.

32 here. Looks like it's supposed to get up to the 40s. There's 2 house showings today, which is 5 since Thursday, and before that none since Dec 10th. I'm sure it's more a sign of the spring-like weather rather than the real estate market turning around.

Rats...A dusting of @#$% covered up the pretty green spaces.

You're probably right about the "spring fever" effect. The fitness addicts have been out in force around here.

Ended up having 3 people looking at the house yesterday. The first one, definitely not a fitness addict. If I can hear labored breathing just going up the front porch steps, then I think this one's not up for the challenges this house has to offer.

I did go out for a long walk yesterday, but only because it was 54 degrees and I couldn't go home for an hour. I'm a fair-weather fitness addict.

Reminds me of the visiting nurse who had more problems getting up our stairs than my 92-year-old mother.

30° on the way to near 50° today. Rain in the forecast too to help getting rid of more white stuff.

I wonder if that nurse moved to Rochester, and is looking at houses?

34 here, so slightly more wintry. Still green, though.

38° with heavy cloud cover. Perfect weather for an eye exam with dilation.

Lots more green here after it hit 53° yesterday.

Back to winter. 19° this morning with highs in the 30's for the weekend.

Getting old is fun. I have cataracts.

Welcome to the club!

30 degrees here, and only small amounts of $%@# yesterday. Now I'm on vacation, and heading to NC tomorrow for the Duke-UNC womens basketball game on Monday. I think it will be on one of ESPN's stations. I'll be wearing a blue shirt.

It's 34 here, with a high of 35. In Chapel Hill, it's 40 with a high of 55. Hmm, that's a tough decision! Going to the airport around 10, will get there around 2 pm. Looks like they'll have some rain this weekend but I think I can stand it.

Rain beat the tornadoes that were all around us when we were down there last year.

27° and overcast here but the sun is supposed to return later.
