Speaking of things to be regretted, I am about to make a caterering decision. Please understand that, due to the Auto Road's feeling that we are toobig for what they can deliver, I need to find an 'outside' firm willing to feed hundreds via at least 4 serving lines.

Now, this means that hot dogs and burgers etc. will be costly if looked at in a vacuum. I can cut costs by eliminating chicken and by screaming at people not to pile their plates as if it were their last meal.

Thoughts to me at jcsinnh@minisontop.com

Thanks and input soon if you want to cause I need to move here.

Edit: wrong address use jsecco@minisontop.com sorry

Sorry, that was off topic, and this was meant to be the on topic thread. In order to steer this post back toward relevancy, has any action/decision been taken on this years rally plate color scheme for t-shirts, stickers, embroidered mugs, etc? I've sent a bunch of proposals to a couple people, I don't know if they've gone anywhere else since.

On the catering thing, I'm a chicken man myself, I only eat hot dogs at ballgames, and I try to limit my burger intake. If it became primarily a burgs and dogs thing, I might go with the baglunch, but that's fine. What cost range are we looking at, in rough numbers, for the various possibilities?

Please keep this thread to MOT information ONLY. If you all would be so kind as to go back and delete your off topic and non-relevant posts it would be helpful.
Banter and off topic goes in John's early a.m. thread, Derek's post 6 a.m. thread, the N.E. OTandB thread and the MOT Usurped thread.

Harvey and Terry are looking to volunteer. If anyone can use them in a MOT capacity give 'em a shout.

Is THAT official, useful-to-the-public information..? Hmmm.
Actually, if they'd like to take over cling procurement, I'd be happy to give it up - this house buying lark has taken up most of my time and I haven't got very far with it - sorry!

EATS at MOT, 05

I am pleased to announce that a caterer has been chosen for this year. A couple of things to keep in mind however:

a. As I stated before, the price HAD to rise since any outside caterer has expenses the Auto Road did not.

b. As with your other MOT registration costs, there will be a suspense date after which no refunds can be given. Obviously, this is due to my need to supply caterer with firm numbers. Once that date is in the past, those numbers must stay solid.

c. Those opting for the picnic will have some kind of ticket, badge, indelible mark, handcuff, etc. to distinguish them from those BYO food.

d. Vegetarian fare will be available.

e. I chose a local outfit, from Gorham, as I feel it is important to make MOT part of the local community.

f. Cost per adult will be NOT more than $15.00 and there will be at least 4 lines.

Thanks for those who sent me input to my variety of addresses and we welcome Libby's Bistro to the MOT family of wackos.

Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear.

It is in my posession. I was thinking more along the lines of printed out on paper or hand drawn. No cost involved.
