Official MINIs On Top 2004 INFORMATIONAL and FAQ's thread

Dear MOT Participant,

It may be winter but summer rooms are filling up fast at the Town and
Country Inn. If you have not made reservations at the Town and Country Inn
you should do so immediately. The maximum number of rooms MINIs On Top could
reserve is 80 for Saturday, June 18. This is half of their "160 tastefully
appointed guest rooms." We are very close to full. A lesser number of
rooms were blocked out for Friday, June 17.

Please call the Town and Country at 1-800- 325-4386 to make your
reservations ASAP. Please be sure to mention that you are with the MINI
Cooper Event and want one of the blocked rooms.

If the Town and Country is sold out you have some other great options very
close by (within two miles). Please try the following:

For the first time ever, there will be a Photo Scavenger Hunt offered to participants of the MOT weekend:

- The Hunt will start in the AM on June 18, 2005 from the Loon Parking Lot and will take place as an alternative to the traditional Kancamagus parade.

- The entry fee of $10 will cover a disposable camera, full set of clues, and a small entry prize.

- The top three finishers will be honored by MC John at the Mt. Washington festivities that afternoon and will be awarded substantial MINI prizes.

- THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES IS LIMITED TO 40 MINIS.

I have a very important and exciting announcement to make.
The charity recipient of this year's MINIs On Top event is the Kennedy-Donovan Centers of Massachusetts. KDC is dedicated to providing community-based services for infants, children, adults and families with developmental disabilities and other unique challenges in Massachusetts.
Herb Chambers MINI of Boston has most graciously donated a leased 2005 MINI Cooper for 24 months at 10k miles/year for a charity raffle to benefit KDC.
Raffle tickets will be limited to a quantity of 200.
Tickets will be sold at $50- each. You may purchase as many tickets as you wish.
All proceeds will go directly to Kennedy-Donovan Center.
The winner of the raffle will be responsible for taxes, insurance, and fuel.
Not bad odds to have a MINI (or two MINIs) in your driveway for two years!
