Just a short important note

MOT does not provide, at any part of the weekend involving driving, alcoholic beverages ever. Our caterers do not either. In fact, most of us are so obsessively against driving the Kanc or the Road after a pop or two that, if we spot someone slamming G&Ts, for example, at the BBQ, a mysterious malfunction to that person's car might very well take place.

This is a terrificly fun and safe event. We do not put up with idiotic behavior very well.

Attention MOT attendees: If you haven't booked a room yet, then get to it! As of lunchtime today, all that they have left at the T&C (official MOT headquarters) is smoking rooms with one double bed for Saturday 6/18. So if you want to be where the action is and stay at the T&C, then get those fingers dialing ASAP.

I really should have called sooner, such a slacker. I guess I'll just sleep with the window open. Maybe bring my own bottle of Febreeze, too...

As of this morning (19 Feb) no rooms left at the T &C., but a waiting list has been established. Already 9 or 10 names on the list then, most likely more have been added.

If that happens again I'll sub let for a reasonable fee. Say....15% over the nightly rack rate.

Just want to assure folks that, even if they cannot get into the Town & Country or Steve's other bed (a move I would not recommend to anyone), they do have options in the area as noted in earlier threads and are certainly welcome at any event held at the T&C, like the Trivia contest or the infamous "autograph Steve's jammies" party.

I'm trying to determine if there is any interest in a caravan to MOT 2005 among those folks from western MA, CT, NY, NJ and points south and west of these areas. Last year we met up Friday morning at Yankee Candle in South Deerfield, MA before heading north to the T&C.

Well here it comes again boys & girls...The Third Annual MINIs on Top CD Contest. This year's theme --- Road Music (a.k.a. the best tunes to drive a MINI by).

Contestants are limited to 4 songs per CD this year and a maximum of 3 entries. Song Titles/Artists should be indicated on the CD you submit along with your name and e-mail address. As always the judging of this contest is totally subjective and may be influenced by our Prozac levels. The decision of the judges is final. Payola may be accepted (or not)!

We've arranged for a car wash at the Loon parking lot (thanks to Loon Mtn. for further extending their hospitality). This will be a fund raiser for the local (Lincoln, NH) high school.

Get cleaned up and look your best for the Kanc run.
