The Bar Harbor/Maine event will be run separate from MOT this year. Please visit this link http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79262 if you want to participate in the Bar Harbor Invasion. You will meet up with the main MOT contingent on Saturday June 18, 2005 in Lincoln, NH at the LoonMountain parking lot.
MOT is limited to 200 vehicles on the Mount Washington Auto Road. More MINIs may attend but only 200 can make the drive to the summit. As things develop we may find that some folks do not want to drive up and places can be swapped. If this happens it will be handled directly with me or Ian on an as needed basis.
MOT has secured a hospitality room at the Town and Country Inn, Gorham. The Greenery Room (near the pool) will be open for your convenience from 3 p.m. Friday June 17 until 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 19. Stop in and have a cold one (BYOB to add to the ice chest); make arrangements for get-togethers (drives, breakfasts, golf, activities); pay your respects to MOT volunteers; hang out; chat and trade insults, participate in the MOT MINI Trivia Competition, etc. Munchies provided by MINIs On Top.
**If you have Pre-Registered for MOT you will receive an Official Registration Form (Adobe Acrobat 7.0) via email in the second week of February, 2005.All registrations are first come, first served. Based on Pre-Registrants in excess of 230 we expect the event to fill up quickly. This year’s form auto-calculates the total amount due so there shouldn’t be any mistakes. The registration costs are totally non-profit. Prices of the Auto Road; MOT Dinner; and event vinyl clings are at cost. T-shirts are sold above cost. T-shirt profits provide for name tags, printing costs, hospitality room, goody bag memento and general operating costs.
There is an added mandatory $5-per vehicle shipping/handling charge in the registration this year. The $5 covers the cost to mail your car numbers, meal tickets, goody bag, t-shirts, vinyl clings, printed route, vendor information, area maps, etc. You will receive your packet via USPS Priority Mail about two weeks prior to the event.
The following is a list of MOT Departmental Leaders. Please contact them directly for information in their respective categories. If you are able to volunteer in any category please contact that person directly. Please do not use this forum to ask general questions. Contacting the volunteers listed below is the preferred method.

It is with great pleasure that I confirm the announcement that Rick Imhof and Laurie Meissner (ActualSize) will run the 2005 CD contest. Thanks for your support over the last 2 years (which the aforementioned duo won and now cannot do a threepeat-ha!).
Their contest, their rules. Stay tuned.
I wanted to be the first to congratulate Fearless Leader on shouldering the mantle for yet another MoT Extravaganza. I also want to be the first to post a more or less irrelevant message on the official thread.
In reality, this post is just to congratulate and thank Steve again for the MOT stuff. (I would have been post #3, but got sidetracked getting a cup of coffee and Richard beat me to it by a few minutes.)
However, I will respect the NO BANTER part of this thread and discuss business:
It is the official consensus of all attenting the HUDSON BAY or BUST Run that our trip would be the perfect warm-up (bad choice of words?) for MOT
Applications gladly being accepted. We have, unfortunately, now instituted a fee system. New members, after this point, will have to by the group a cup of coffee in Val d' Or. Still, a small price to pay for such a worthwhile cause (and certainly cheaper than the you-know-what event since there is no $5 mailing fee. We will put your money to good work and just buy coffee with it.)
My biggest question is about the food just before the climb up the auto road. Is it being catered from an outside vendor? How will we deal with massive lines?
"Just keep heading into the wind. Don't let anything blow you over."
May I request that the first post be fixed so that those of us that use the Blue version of MINI2.com can read it?
Thanks to all who work so hard to provide the fun for the MOT weekend!

They will be expanded with specifics by those of us responsible as those specifics become available. Those expansions should answer most questions, PMs will handle the very specific.
Moderators, as I understand it, cannot lock out posts but can move them to more appropriate threads; if we do not keep this one very business like, that will probably have to happen.
Please don't email me asking if you pre-registered because I don't know. If you think you already did it then you probably did.
A couple of updates
-On Friday 6/17/05 there will be a MOT MINI Trivia Contest hosted by Cape Cod MINIs. It will be held in the MOT Hospitality room or in a TandC function room. Teams will be made up of 4 MOTerers. Unique entertaining team names are required. More information will be coming soon.
- A MOT Scavenger Hunt is being developed. More information will be coming soon.

Aaron, wouldn't it be easier to auto-mail everyone who is on your list telling them they're on it..?
I know nothing about list servers, so maybe not...
