Will this be similar to the MOP rally then...driving to places to find answers to clues? I hope it involves driving in some way or else I might just do the kanc.

You'll have time to read the clues, organize them and drive to collect the correct pictures as quickly and accurately as possible.

Of course, the Kancamagus involves driving 'in some way' as well but this sounds like fun. Will folks arriving at Loon check in for MOT first then find the scavenger hunt check in?

Yes. Then the Hunters will leave either before or after the main peloton. The Hunt is over by 3 PM to allow people to check into their motels and regroup for the festivities at the Autoroute.

So I assume this would have separate lunch plans too? Is there anyway a spirited drive down Bear Notch Rd can be integrated? Then I will sign up.

There will be two components to winning: accuracy and elapsed time, however inaccuracy will be penalized more. The amount of spiritness will have to be selected by each participant. There will be a separate picnic lunch where every driver will be required to sign a release form ... without getting mayo all over it

Josh, my guess is that the main topic is hunting items on the list. My second guess is that, if a spirited drive up Bear Notch gets you to an item or two faster, such a drive would be in the cards.

I'm just saying, "how many right-bending curves are on bear notch road north" would be a good item in the hunt. Sure you could cheat with a map, but then you're missing the whole point.

Anyway, yes, please add me to the list. Will it be a disposable SLR? Disposable 5-megapixel? Disposable medium format? Ah, that's right MINI things are small. Gotcha. Disposable Kodak Disc.

MOT will not condone or encourage breaking local rules of the road.
What you do as an individual is entirely up to you.

How is counting the number of curves breaking the rules of the road? Boy you really did wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Not really, Josh. It was just the "spirited drive down Bear Notch Rd. can be integrated?" that I have to officially respond to. MOT cannot condone breaking any rules of the road as a MOT group activity.
Once again, what you do as individuals is entirely up to you.
Catch my drift here?

I seriously hope you don't expect people to drive without spirit. You can drive with spirit without breaking any rules. It is a state of mind.
But really, now you're encouraging people to catch your drift, and I do believe NH's finest will not approve so much of you drifting!
