YC vs. Area 51

Just to be difficult, we're shooting to intercept y'all at Mr. Mike's Mobil. Just works out the best with what I expect for our schedule (i.e. getting the kids going). If we're too late, or the weather's really crappy, we might re-route to Area 51. Otherwise, it's a nice drive North on 68 & 202 from the NW corner of Worcester.

T - 18 days & counting...

Sounds like a plan. If you wish, you can PM me your cell phone number and I can give you mine so we can communicate en route and coordinate the meet-up point.

Put the kids in the car the night before so they'll be ready in the AM, then you can join Pam and me taking the "long way home" motoring out to YC.

Cool Cape Cod MINIs to join up with Area 51 folks

Hello Yankee Candle and Area 51 folks! StarMini here reporting for duty! As of this evening we have (at least) 4 MINIs from Cape Cod that will be hooking up with you at Area 51. The plan as we know it right now is to meet at 11:00am @ the Sagamore Bridge temporary commuter parking lot and head north from there. Hopefully we'll have time for a leg stretch and picnic lunch at Area 51, before heading out again for a fun ride into the White Mountains! Will keep y'all posted!

Harvey,

We've got 9 MINIs so far at Area 51 and 26 MINIs so far at YC. Names are on the first post of the thread.

Not all of the 26 YC MINIs will be heading north in the Canavan, however. It looks as though 2 or 3 folks will leave after the Caravan departs.

So, we should have about 23 YC folks meeting-up with about 9 Area 51 folks for...let's see...carry the 1...multiply by the square of the hippapotamus...divide by the cosiner of the loan...that sums to...

32

folks in the MOT Caravan to the Whites (so far).

Welcome, StarMini and friends!

I've added your 4 MINIs to the first post under the Area 51 folks. Area 51 is a great place to have a little picnic. You will find an information desk with oodles of maps and brochures, restrooms, vending machines, and a crow with a gimpy wing named Walter (according to the elderly gentleman I spoke to in April).

Does it really take 8 hours to get to South Deerfield from MD? I used to make it to Merrimack in 8 1/2hrs. I think we are aiming to leave at 3am so we should make it to the parking lot in time.

Do we all need to dress in tuxedos and white ribbons on the MINIs?
