| chs4 -- Yup! That's right on the nose, as long as we depart Yankee Candle at 12:00 noon. If you wanted to "scout" us a meeting place just off I-93 around Concord, we could have a giant merge of MINIs from the East, South and West and proceed up I-93 to the Kanc, Bear Notch and the Town & Country. Carol and I will be heading up through that area this weekend so I can look for a place also. This is looking pretty cool! | Welcome CarNut! There is a Red Roof Inn right next to Yankee Candle. It's not fancy but the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. It takes me about 7.5 hours to go from the Yankee Candle area to Alexandria, VA. Don't know how far you are from NoVa, though. Love your website! | Thanks. Looking forward to MOT. Missed last year, but drove the Auto Road in August and had much better weather than you had for MOT 2004. Does it ever get much better on Mt. Washington than sunny mid-70s with a light breeze?? I had that for two days. Rode the cog up one afternoon and drove up the Auto Road the next morning. Here's hoping for good weather for MOT 2005. I live west of DC by about 30 miles and should make it in around 7 hours. I'm actually quite familiar with the area. Both parents came from NH and I still have relatives there. I lived in Westborough, MA for almost a year in the mid-90s. See you in June. |

| Perhaps we could have a sub-caravan from out here to the gathering point. To give ourselves a break, we're leaning towards leaving on Thursday morning and spending that night in western Mass. either with friends in the area or a local motel. Friday AM we'll gather with the rest at the YK. |

| If someone could let me know the screen names of those NY MINIs that are coming, I will add them to the first page. I will need to let Yankee Candle know how much space to allow us in their parking lot.
