Pulley Party Plus II - Providence, RI - Apr. 9-10th

It's happening again! Just in time for the good weather. Here are some details:

What: Pulley Party and then some.
When: April 9th and 10th
Where: Yarrowsport, Providence, RI

Directions
From 95 North: Take exit 17(Elmwood Ave). Left at end of ramp onto Elmwood Ave. Right onto Thurston St. Follow street to the end.
From 95 South: Take exit 16 toward Cranston (Rt 10). Stay right after exit towards Elmwood Ave. Right at end on ramp onto Elmwwod Ave. Take third right onto Thurston St. Follow street to the end.

The Pulley Party will again be held at Yarrowsport. This means there will be a Dyno available for use. Also, you will be able to get almost anything installed! Exhausts, pulleys, intakes, sway bars, springs, ect... Yarrow and his staff will be there with Randy and they are all available for installs, oil changes, or any other odds and ends you can think of.

There will also be a drive planned for both Saturday and Sunday so anyone who gets goodies installed will be able to test them out. I will also be hosting a BBQ for all attendees on Saturday night. Please let me know if you would like to stop by.

I encourage all to attend this event. Installs or not, it will be a good time.

If you are interested in having something installed please visit the link below and post what you would like to have done and the time slot you would like.

Just to let you know if you don't, Randy has a group buy going on for Miltec Catback going on. Might be about four or so left. Great system!

OH Boy

Yea it will kinda early to drive on those Mass roads, but a trip to RI for a pulley, Intake, and crank Pulley will be worth it. Maybe I will break the 6200 mark during the run.

Hummm Might be a fun first birthday gift For Ghillie... does the pulley include the Chip upgrade? and is it a 15% or 18% Pulley? and of course the big question how much?

The usual is 15%, there are also 17% and 19%. I think he would do 17% but tries to stay away from 19%.

Price may vary on those, but most people do the 15% which is $400 including pulley and install. No chip upgrade. He will put on an intake with no additional install fee since he has to take the stock one apart anyway to do the pulley.

Randy said he'll put in a 19% if you really want it but his warranty expires once you drive it away.

JCW is ~15% so I think that is a pretty good number to go by.

Saturday Dyno for me.

I'll do a Sat dyno at the very least. I want to establish a baseline for the 2005s. I wonder if Unichip tuning can be done?

I just spent some time at his mebb site and I have to say you would have one very expensive MINI if you did everything he offers... mind you I expect you would shock some drivers of expensive stock sports cars but Wow!

PM AprilWhine and ask her. Or GMINI, but he is often off in la-la land.

Does anyone know how much the dyno pulls will be? If I remember, last year they were $50.

I think it was $50.00 for three pulls... but that was because we had a certain number of cars. I think the normal price is $65.00. So it could be one or the other depending on attendance.
