United-States MINIs On Top Charity Raffle 2005 Hyper Blue MINI Cooper

MINIs On Top is raffling the 24 month lease of a 2005 MINI Cooper. For the cost of one raffle ticket you will have the chance to keep a 2005 Hyper Blue/White MINI Cooper with sunroof in your possession for two years. You'll be allowed 10,000 miles per year. At the end of the two years you may extend your lease or return the vehicle. You will be responsible for associated taxes and insurance.

Who has donated this MINI? The generosity of Herb Chambers MINI of Boston, MA has made this possible. www.herbchambersmini.com

Who will be the recipient of the proceeds from this year's raffle? The Kennedy-Donovan Centers of Massachusetts will be the recipient of this year's MOT raffle. "Our mission and our passion is to bring services of the highest quality to people in need. For almost thirty years, KDC has improved the quality of life for thousands of individuals with developmental disabilities, children and their families." www.kdc.org

How many tickets will be sold? Only 200 tickets will be sold. (Not bad odds)

How much will each ticket cost? Each ticket costs $50.00

Do I need to attend MOT to purchase a raffle ticket? Of course not! Tickets are available to all licensed drivers. Please feel free to forward this information to anyone who may be interested in purchasing a ticket.

Do I need to be present to win? Of course not! The lucky winner's name will be drawn on Saturday June, 18, 2005 during the MOT dinner at the base of Mount Washington. If you are not present, we'll call you right away with the good news. You will have to pick up the MINI in Boston, MA if you are not present at the drawing.

How can I get a ticket? Make a check out to "MINIs On Top Raffle" in the amount of $50.00.
Send it to: Steve Barnatt
183 Center Street,
South Dennis, MA 02660.
Please enclose a self addressed stamped envelope. MINIs On Top is absorbing all costs associated with the raffle. Your contribution of an SASE is greatly appreciated.

All proceeds will go to Kennedy Donovan Centers. Operating expenses of the raffle will be contributed by MINIs On Top.
A number of tickets have already been sold. Don't procrastinate or you'll miss the opportunity to win this raffle and support a very worthy non-profit organization.

Thank you.
Steve

I think I'll splurge. Thanks, Herbie. One minor correction MIGHT be that the winner has to go to Boston even if at MoT???? Or wil the MC be at MoT, fishface?

The current plan is to have the car at MOT. If you win there will be a case of Depends and a roll of Brawny paper towels in the boot.

That's not funny at all. Plus, I've switched to Shaw's paper towels. Not bad for a store brand and their Signature line of foods is quite good. Why, just the other day, I had...........nevermind.

Strange - I can't view the attachment ...
Still, I guess I should not take any flyers to MoP

Mac or PC? Not trying to bring up the old Mac vs PC argument but I'll bet it opens on a PC. Got any at work?
Sure, take them into MOP. HC MINI asked me for nine books! That's 45 tickets! .

Steve - it is opening fine tonight.
I was at work trying this morning, on a PC but no joy. However I had to reboot the server today so something quirky was going on with Winproxy.

Delivered a few of the other printed flyers to MoP tonight with a note asking Martin to put them out - but I noticed they already are running a raffle for CCpools, so maybe Martin won't want to be promoting two at the same time.

Sometimes I worry that we will leave Martin behind as others see what a powerful force MoT really is. Now, under the sneaky leadership of Ol' Fishbreath, we can eclipse all other charity-based groups with ease.

We should hire ourselves out as consultants to Martin.

I have personally moved 15 of the raffle tickets as of yesterday.

Feel free to download the flyer and distribute.

I would also like to note that it doesn't work on a PC here at work! I'll check it out at home and my mom might be able to move some.

Steve, is it best I get a book from you? Or just have the flyer posted to generate interest in the coming weeks and then get some from you?

Jared, thanks for asking. I would recommend using the flyer first. If you can presell I'll then send you the tickets and you can collect accordingly.

I just spoke with KDC and it's official that our donation can be increased by 15% if we partner with the Rodman Ride for Kids. MOT remains autonomous, check gets made out to Rodman Ride for Kids and the 10K becomes 11.5K. Good deal.
